Welcome! My name is Giselle Jones, though many know me as Gigi. I’m a multi-media sports journalist, content creator and former producer. With a passion for impactful storytelling and an innate curiosity, I work to deliver truthful journalism and tell the stories that matter within my communities.
A Penn State University alum, I received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Digital Media Trends & Analytics, along with a certificate from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
I currently work with a range of dynamic organizations—including ESPN+, B1G+, Penn State Athletics, and the National Association of Black Journalists. Reporting for thousands of viewers, I have used these experiences to focus on what I love: on-camera reporting, digital content creation, and behind-the-scenes production. I covered the Super Bowl with the Associated Press, won a Keystone NewsMedia Award, and was awarded the Knight Scholarship for excellence in sports journalism—and I am always looking for the next challenge.
When I'm not on sidelines or in the studio, you can find me in the gym, watching movies and documentaries or hiking!
